…we’re not sure if anybody even thought it would ever finish, but our first full-length album is here! One and a half years of blood, sweat n tears, nights and nights in the studio, endless conversation, exhausting live gigs and endless travel, hours of rehearsal and organizational hassle have forged a product which we truly think represents what THE TANGERINE TURNPIKE is all about…

An extraordinary amount of work has flown into each and every detail of this CD – consuming our spare time comparable to an SUV guzzlin‘ gas, and we ain’t lyin …

The first copies are ready for sale, at first only at concerts, until we have a retail possibility worked out for convenient online ordering. Should you want one immediately, please send your carrier pigeons to „contact@thetangerineturnpike.com“ and we’ll try to work it out…

For those of you who want to get a taste of what’s in store should visit our myspace page where we have uploaded 3 samples of our type of airwave pollution … please keep in mind that myspace/streaming MP3 quality sucks – a fact totally forgotten by a world that tends to consume music in form of a cellular phone ringtone more and more … the CDs got it all – the media, the artwork, the 3D-glasses – it’s the real McCoy. We would have gone for the vinyl but for obvious reasons it wasn’t possible and so we tried to get as close as possible…

At this place we would especially like to thank Phillip Preuss, who made this disc possible in the first place. Without his extensive efforts, allowing us to scrap and re-record several songs, the music could not have been captured the way it has been…

Additionally we have completed the video shoot for the song WAVE DE LA RAVE – the result of which should be ready by early November. If all things go well the new website should be online by this time as well.
